The bodice and sleeves of the gown were enhanced with fabric rose designs and crystal beads. The three-quarter sleeves were scalloped around the bottom, as well as the neck- line of the gown. The full train was attached at the shoulders by a lovely bow. A fabric rose was attached to her cathedral length veil. The bride carried a cas- cade of glamelias and white roses. Mrs. Brenda Muffett of Route 1, Fordsvtlle, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Kathy Foster, MIss Jeanie Foster, Miss Phyllis Myers, and Miss Elaine Moore, all of Hartford. The attendants wore iden- tical A-line gowns of blue satin enhanced at the neck- line with white rosebuds. They also wore veils at- tached to light blue bows, and carried long stem yellow roses. Miss Sherry Smith of Louisville served as flower girl and wore a gown similar to the other attendants. She and the junior bridesmaid, Miss Deborah Ann Ralph, wore gowns of blue satin, em- pired at the waist, and accented with white rose buds embroidered to the fabric. The flower girl carried a white lace bas- ket of yellow gladiola were black and she wore a corsage of blue gla- melias. The groom' s mother wore a straight dress of blue crepe with an over- lay of matching blue lace. The three-quarter sleeves were of sheer lace and were cuffed with blue crepe. She carried a beaded bag and wore matching floral design shoes. She, too, wore a blue glamelia corsage. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held In the church base- ment. The table was decor- ated with a white cloth Over which white net was placed and brought up on each side by white satin bows to form scallops. A three-tier wedding cake topped with two love doves served as the centerpiece. Refreshments were served by Sherry Likens and Judy Tichenor, both of Hartford. Mrs. Margaret Duke, Mrs. Hugh E. Duke, Jr., Mrs. Alanna Ralph, and Mrs. Dewey Myers also assisted with the reception. Mrs. Hugh Eddie Duke, Jr. of Hartford was In charge of the register. After a wedding trip to Rough River Dam, the couple plan to make their home at 224 East Center Street, Hartford. Seventeen members of the Progresslve Women's Club gathered at the home of Mrs. Roscoe Peters for a farewell party in honor of Mrs. Harold Moore. Each lady is wearing one of the 175 jersey shifts they have been selling during the summer. Birthday Party Honoring Miss Rose Slaoulders Mr. and Mrs. Earl Shoulders gave their daughter, Rose, a birth- day party on her 10th birthday. Those present were Rachelle Ctrrintono, Chicago, Illinois; Serlta Brown, Edie Whitehead, Sue Ellen Holladay, Pam Holt of Georgia, Lesa Hobdy and Carolyn Shoul- ders. All had a good time, es- pecially Rose. In the wedding of Miss Wands Brown and Mr. Danny Joe Claxton, Mrs. Jeff Franklin of Edwards- port, Indiana made the wedding cake and punch and served as caterer.
