Mr. and Mrs. Chester Taylor were afternoon callers. Several dinner plates were sent to those who were unable to attend the homecoming. Morris Descendants The children of Granville and Viola Morris attending the annual Morris- Daugherty homecoming were, standing left to right, Onis Morris, Eileen Allen, Clida Morris, Carson Morris. Clarence Morris, Juanita Downey, Roy Morris and Thelma Crowder (in front). Eadens Vacation In Western States Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Eaden, Route 2, Beaver Dam, spent two weeks in August touring the western states. They visited Yellowstone Park, Salt Lake City, Hoover Dam, Badlands, Brice Canyon, Mr. Rushmore, Grand Canyon and many other places of interest. Great-Grandson's Birth Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Chinn of Corydon, are the proud parents of a 7 lb. son, born Friday August 22 at the Methodist Hospital in Henderson. They have named him Brian Jay. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Millard Chinn and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Johnson, all of Henderson, and great- grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Porter. Mr. and Mrs. Troy Curtis and sons Troy Allen and David of Louisville spent Thursday night and Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Curtis. Mr. and Mrs. Carol Wallace and son and Mrs. Nannie Wallace spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Mason of Louisville. Mrs. Lucille Holladay and daughter Sue Ellen have been visiting her daughter, Mrs. David Queen, Mr. Queen and children in South Charleston, Ohio. Mrs. Maggie Schroader of Owen- sboro is spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. Mary Melton. Mr. and Mrs. Berkley Brown and children David and Debbie of Oak Forest, Illinois spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Curtis. The Browns were here to attend a class reunion. Mrs. Gaynell Brown and three Gadsden, Ala., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Ashby and other relatives here. Miss Debbie Walker and Davy Porter of Louisville spent Saturday night and Sunday with Davy's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Geobel Porter. Mr. and Mrs. Glendale James and son Tim of Dayton, Ohio visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hulett Barnes and Mrs. Madeiine James last week. Mrs. James Trail, Benton Harbor, Michigan and Mrs. Jo Dean Trail of Beaver Dam called on Mr. and Mrs. Geobel Porter last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Porter and twins Ryan and Rhonda of Owensboro spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orman Porter and Rita.
