Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. .... wi i;iRiiii;i 0000iiii;i NOTICE OF HEARING ON GAS LIMITATION POLICY OF NAT- URAL GAS SERVICE BY WESTERN KENTUCKY GAS COMPANY BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF KENTUCKY public utility furnishing natural gas within areas served by this news- paper, did, on the 7th day of June. 1973. file on Application with the Public Service Commission of Kentucky, Frankfort, Kentucky, for Ipproval of a Gas Limitation Policy, as follows: 1. The company will not serve the requirements of any now residential customers, except for those who have applied for and ere ready for the initiation of service prior to January 1, 1974. 2. Effective January 1, 1974, the Company will not serve the require- manta of any now commercial customers and will not permit any increase in requirements for any existing commercial customer. 3. For the purpose of the Gas Limitation Policy a new customer is defined as one that has not received gas service during the preceeding twelve month period. The word "customer" as used in this Tariff. 0hall moan the place of consumption of natural gas st which the Company delivers service irrespective of the ownership or possession of the place of consumption of the natural gel. 4, Any customer violating the Company's Gas Limitation Policy will bo given written notice of the violation and wilt be requested to moot with Company representatives to arrange a mutual solution of the problem. If the customer fails to appear et this meeting, the Company shall have the right to discontinue service to thet customer until setisfectory corrective action has been taken. If, as a result of a meet; ing the violation cannot be reconciled, service to that customer shall be subject to termination upon 48 hours further written notice. 5. The Company will accept epplications for service from potential customers and el gas supply becomes available, will accept new cus. tamers for service in the applicable supply areas. In accordance with Controlled Attachment Program shown on Tariff Sheet 38(3, cus- tomers will be accepted in chronologic01 order DOled on the dote 0nd time of application, except that preference will first be given to those that con be served from the Company's existing gas syst0m. 6. In the event of conflict between the Company s Gel Lim- itation Policy and any other of the Company's filed Rules, Terms and Regulations, the Gas Limitetion Policy shill prevail. CONTROLLED ATTACHMENT PROGRAM The Company will accept applic0tions for service from prospective customers: When gas supply becomes available, the Company will serve now customers in chronological order on the following priority bl0il: I. Individual dwelling units on existing mains. 2. Other individual dwelling units. 3, Public buildings - schools, hospitals, civic centers, etc. 4. Multi - filmily dwellings. 5. Commercial base load. 6. Other commerclel applications. 7. Industriel processing. 8. Other induotrtll applications.
