New officers included Georgia Conway, president, Betty Plumier, first vice president, Esther Young, second vice president, Janice Schroader, treasurer, Joy Arnold, recording secretary, Jewell Blankenship, corresponding secretary, Rita Rowe, historian, and Suzanne Rice, parliamentarian. Brad Travis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Travis of Beaver Dam, received the annual safe driving award and a $25.00 savings bond. Brad is a senior at Ohio County High School. Guests for the evenings events were charter members, Mrs. W. C. Chick, Mrs. Fount Crow, Mrs. W. H. Wash- burn and Mrs. Frank Barnes.
